New Zealand Aviation Academy to set up training facility at Hollongi, Arunachal Pradesh
Arunachal CM, Pema Khandu announced on his Twitter account that the New Zealand Aviation Academy, one of the top training institutions for commercial airline pilots, will open a pilot training facility in Arunachal Pradesh.

The training facility will be established close to the Donyi Polo airport, Hollongi near Itanagar in Arunachal Pradesh.
Making the announcement on X, CM Pema Khandu said “A great news for aspiring pilots! New Zealand aviation academy shall be setting up a pilot training academy at Hollongi, Arunachal Pradesh.”

Chief Minister Khandu also informed that the airports authority of India (AAI) “has provided the land on lease for the academy” and expressed happiness that youngsters from the region will not have to go out of the state for training and can avail the opportunity and best training facility right in the state.
