Under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, three main railway stations of Tripura will undergo redevelopment. The railway stations, Dharmanagar, Kumarghat and Udaipur will be revamped with modern world class facilities. The redevelopment of these railway stations with a budget of 96.6 crores will elevate the travel experience of railway travellers.
PM Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the redevelopment of 508 railway stations across India through video conferencing on August 6, 2023. The revamped railway stations are envisioned to be a harmonious blend of luxury and charm.
