Dudhia (or Dudhey) village is a small picturesque village located approximately 30 kms from Siliguri and makes an ideal getaway from the Siliguri for an afternoon or a day. Siliguri to Dudhia is just an hour’s drive and it is where the Darjeeling hill starts rising from the plain. The view of the mountain ranges as you ascend up the hills is magical, specially during the sunset on a clear day.

A family-run restaurant on the Dudhia river bank, you can relax with a beer at the Bangey restaurant and enjoy the view of the surroundings. During the weekends, it is difficult to find a table at the Bangey restaurant which is also popular for the delicious food and their unique local flavour.
