Preparations in full swing for Hornbill Festival 2023
Preparations for 2023 Hornbill Festival are on full swing as Nagaland‘s Tourism Minister, Temjen Imna Along took to twitter sharing pictures of his meeting with local leaders, and CSOs from Kigwema and Phesama villages, along with officials from the Tourism department.

The Festival is a 10-day extravaganza showcasing the rich diversity and heritage of the Naga people. The festival allows an opportunity to witness the colourful dances, music, games & rituals that celebrate their traditions & history, taste delicious local dishes, shop for unique handicrafts, and interact with the friendly locals.
One of the main highlights of the Hornbill Festival is the Hornbill Music Festival, in which top bands from the state, region, and country will perform.
The Hornbill Music Festival is sponsored by Toyota India in partnership with Wynk Music. Officials from Toyota and the Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA), Nagaland visited the festival venue to discuss plans and inspect the site.

Temjen Imna Along, the Tourism Minister of the state assured during the consultative meeting od the stakeholders that the 2023 Hornbill Festival will be better. Different departments and government agencies are working in tandem to make the event successful and to make sure that the tourists who visit Nagaland during the festival will enjoy their stay.
