Meghalaya to host International Tourism Mart from Nov 21 to 23, 2023
Meghalaya is set to host the International Tourism Mart (ITM) from November 21 to 23, marking the first time for this event in the state.
The state is fully prepared to welcome the 11th edition of the International Tourism Mart (ITM) which is scheduled to take place in Shillong.

Tourism Minister, Paul Lyngdoh has announced that during this three-day event, the state will prominently feature its rich art and handicrafts, while also designating tour operators and home stay owners as sellers for the upcoming B2B meetings.
He added that ITM 2023 marks a significant milestone for the state as it hosts the event for the first time. The primary objective of this event is to boost tourism in the state.
The International Tourism Mart (ITM) will be inaugurated by Union Tourism Minister GK Reddy, and it will witness participation from all states in the North East region.
According to Lyngdoh, international participants from various countries will be introduced to the state’s crafts, tourist attractions, and activities. The engagement of tour operators ensures the involvement of all stakeholders. This event serves as a platform for showcasing Meghalaya as an international tourist destination.
In 2022, ITM took place in Aizawl, Mizoram, and in 2021, it was held in Kohima, Nagaland.
