FTII to host a 10 day screen acting training program in Nagaland
The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, in partnership with the Department of Information & Public Relations, is organizing a 10-day Screen Acting training program for Scheduled Tribe participants residing in Nagaland.
The program will take place from October 30 to November 10, 2023 at the Directorate of Information and Public Relations in Kohima.

The training program will include various aspects of acting, such as actor movement, improvisation, voice, speech, diction, memory and imagination, observation, monologue, physical culture, character study, technical aspects of screen acting and many More.
Anita Salim, an FTII Pune graduate, will lead this training. She is well experienced in acting, teaching, and production and has performed in numerous plays, conducted workshops for students, amateurs, and professionals. She is the co-founder of The Phoenix Players and is known for her contributions to costume design, mime, dance, storytelling, and her involvement in Prithvi Summertime Theatre for Children since 1992.
To participate in this program, participants must be 18 years or above and belong to Schedule Tribe. There is no course fee, but participants are required to pay Rs 1,000 at the time of registration.

Travel Allowance (TA) and Daily Allowance (DA) will not be provided. Participants should manage this at their own.
