Nagaland is all set to host the, “Nagaland Senior Open Athletics Championships 2023” on November 16 and 17. The competition will take place at the Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.

The list of events for the Nagaland Senior Open Athletics Championships 2023 is available for both men and women categories, allowing participants to prepare for their best performance. Athletes from every corner of Nagaland are eligible to take part in this competition.

The Nagaland Senior Open Athletics Championships 2023 lineup includes a 100-meter long jump, 200-meter high jump, 400-meter triple jump, 800-meter shot put, 1,500-meter discus, and 5,000-meter javelin. An athlete can participate in maximum two individual events only.
The last date for the registration will be 6th November, 2023. Registration can be completed online via a Google Form, with a nominal fee of Rs. 100 per event. Accommodation and food arrangements should be arranged by the participants themselves.
Additionally, the Nagaland athletics will also be conducting Athletic Federation of India (AFI) athlete registration drive. AFI Registration is mandatory for all athletes participating under AFI, and individuals can obtain their AFIUID Number by visiting the Athletic Federation of India website.
Talented athletes will get a chance to be selected for an intensive State-level coaching camp.
