National Geographic selects Sikkim as one of the 30 most exciting destinations in 2024
Sikkim, a small state in northeastern India, has been selected as one of the 30 most exciting destinations to visit in 2024 by National Geographic. The state is known for its stunning natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and diverse flora and fauna.
Sikkim is a popular destination for trekking, mountaineering, and birdwatching. The state is also home to a number of homestays and eco-lodges, which offer visitors a chance to experience the local culture and way of life.
Besides, Sikkim, other places from Asia which have made entry into the list includes Tainan, the former capita of Taiwan with fortress towers and soaring temple roofs and Xi’an, the historic capital of China which is famous for Terracota Army.
