Arunachal Secures 12 Medals in the 3rd National Hand to Hand Fighting Sports Championship 2023
Arunachal Pradesh performed exceptionally well at the 3rd National Hand to Hand Fighting Sports Championship 2023 in Sirsa, Haryana. They won a total of 12 medals, with five gold, five silver, and two bronze, during the competition held from September 30 to October 2.

Making the announcement on X, CM Pema Khandu said, “Well done Team Arunachal! Heartening that our State has won 12 medals in National Hand to Hand Fighting Sports Championship 2023, which was held at Sirsa, Haryana. Our athletes clinched five Gold, equal number of Silver and two Bronze.” He further congratulated the team for greater success in the future.

Goda Mary, Markio Talu, Joram Khope, Hina Prasar, and Markio Tama secured gold medals. Sangha Radhe, Langfu Takio, Byabang Sakap, Ruhi Maching, and Toko Tajo are the silver medal winners. The bronze medals winners are Loa Kaku and Bamang Niglar, as shared by Bamang Apo, the President of the Hand to Hand Fighting Sports Association.
