NTPC and VKVAPT Team Up to Improve infrastructure in Arunachal Pradesh Schools

The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) partners with the Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Arunachal Pradesh Trust (VKVAPT) to improve the infrastructure of six schools in Arunachal Pradesh.

These schools are Balijan, Sunpura, Jairampur, Banderdewa, Ziro, and Kharsang VKVs. The agreement signing event took place in Itanagar, with representatives from NTPC and VKVAPT.

Making the announcement on X, Chowna Mein, the Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh said, “Uplifting the education sector, NTPC and VKVAPT join forces to transform six schools in Arunachal Pradesh. Such collaborations between public and private entities are instrumental in addressing the educational challenges in remote regions within our State and contribute to the holistic development of the community by nurturing the next generation of talent.”

The Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Arunachal Pradesh Trust (VKVAPT) has been a key player in enhancing education in Arunachal Pradesh.

The Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas, part of VKV Arunachal Pradesh Trust, have been vital in providing high-quality education to children throughout Arunachal Pradesh. These schools are situated in 21 out of the state’s 25 districts, offering education to kids from various backgrounds, including those from disadvantaged areas.

The agreement between NTPC and VKVAPT shows NTPC’s dedication to supporting education and infrastructure development in the country. NTPC firmly believes that education is a powerful tool for transformation and empowerment, and through these initiatives, NTPC contributes to the growth and progress of students and communities nationwide.
