Pragjyotishpur Lit Fest to be organized in Guwahati from September 29
The Pragjyotishpur Lit Fest is a three day literary festival will kickstart from September 29th at Asom Sahitya Sabha and district library premises in Guwahati. The three-day Pragjyotishpur Lit Fest will witness a series of literary activities such as keynote talks, panel discussions, conversations with authors, workshops on creative writing, quiz, poetry sessions, and book launches.
The theme for the 2023 Pragjyotishpur Literature Festival ‘In Search of Roots’, keeping in mind the need of educating the youth about the ancient heritage, culture and literature of the nation and particularly every region of the country. Discussions and interactive sessions will be held on a wide range of topics including – Exploring Tradition through Literature, Regional Indian Literature, Lost and Found in Translation, Contemporary Nature Writing, and Assam through the Cinematic Lens, among others.
Noted authors like Lil Bahadur Chetri, Suvash Chandra Satapathy from Bhubaneshwar, Bhushan Bhave from Goa, and others, will participate in the Pragjyotishpur Lit Fest, besides writers, media and film personalities from Assam.
The festival is organised by Shankardev Education and Research Foundation, and will be inaugurated by National Book Trust chairman Milind Sudhakar Marathe.
