USA, Colombia join as Country Partners for Hornbill Festival 2023
After Germany, Colombia and the United States of America have officially joined as Country Partners for the upcoming Hornbill Festival 2023, a vibrant cultural celebration held in Nagaland. This marks a new milestone in the festival’s history, as it welcomes two prominent international partners to showcase their rich cultural heritage and foster stronger ties with India.

Welcoming USA as the country partner for the festival , Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio wrote on his X account “Nagaland is excited to welcome the United States of America as the Country Partner of the Hornbill Festival 2023. We are looking forward to hosting an American Music band and participation of the USA in a number of events at the Festival of Festivals. We have always had a positive relationship with the Americans and through this partnership we are hopeful that the two countries will come closer together for mutual benefit and enhanced collaborations.”
