Sonam Topden, a renowned singer, songwriter, and composer, is scheduled to perform at the Tangkhul Naga Film Festival 2023 in Ukhrul, Manipur on December 14, 2023.

Sonam Topden is a multilingual artist with an impressive career in music and film. He was born in Manali, Himachal Pradesh, India, on April 30, 1994.

He gained fame through a cover song of “Hawayein” from the movie “Jab Harry Met Sejal,” which went viral on YouTube with over 20 million views, launching his global career.

He embarked on international tours, performing in the USA, Canada, the UK, Europe, and Australia, connecting with diverse audiences through his ability to sing in multiple languages. He effortlessly sings in Hindi, Nepali, English, Tibetan, and Bhutanese languages.

In 2019, Sonam Topden entered the world of acting with his debut in the Nepali movie “Samhalincha Kahile Maan,” which was a success in Nepal and earned him recognition as a rising star.

Sonam Topden is regarded as the next superstar of the Nepali film industry, and his journey from Manali to Kathmandu is seen as an inspiration to aspiring artists worldwide.

He is set to perform at the Tangkhul Naga Film Festival in Ukhrul, Manipur, which is expected to be a highlight of the event, bringing a musical dimension to the cinematic celebration.

Taking to Facebook, Sonam writes, “I’m excited to announce that I’ll be performing at the Tangkhul Naga Film Festival on December 14th. Can’t wait to see you there!”

The Tangkhul Naga Film Association (TNFA) is organizing the film festival to promote Tangkhul artists, with special guests including Sylvia Adaphro, Mrs. Asia Pacific Intercontinental 2019, Chanchui Khayi, Miss North East India 2022, Guru Rewben Mashangva, Padma Shree Awardee and Lummi Awungshi. Ruparu Mr. India (Brand Ambassador).

TNFA’s vision is to share Tangkhul stories with the world through films and promote Tangkhul artists involved in filmmaking. The event will also include award presentations for various film categories.
